Attorney Steven G. Storrs is a member of Barry County Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, and the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan (CDAM). Attorney Storrs also serves as a member of Spectrum Health - Pennock Board of Trustees.
Attorney Storrs was elected in April 2019 to represent the 5th Circuit on the Representative Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan. The Representative Assembly is the final policy-making body of the State Bar of Michigan (SBM). The SBM is the self-regulating and licensing body for all Michigan licensed attorneys. Representatives are elected by the membership of the SBM to 3-year terms from each of the Michigan Court Circuits. The number of representatives from each Circuit is determined based on population size. The 5th Circuit is comprised of Barry County, and elects one representative to the Assembly.

I was raised and attended public schools in Hastings, Michigan. After graduating from Hastings High School, I attended Central Michigan University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education with a business focus and a minor in art. I graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Grand Rapids.
From a young age, I worked at our family owned business, River Bend Golf Course, located in Hastings. After graduating from CMU, I continued to work at the golf course while teaching and coaching in the Hastings Area School system. I left my full time teaching position at Hastings High School to attend law school.
I live in Hastings with my wife and daughter. We enjoy spending time with friends and family and visiting Michigan's many beautiful locations. I was the varsity boy’s basketball head coach at Hastings High School from 2012-2017 and remain involved with the school system.
